Denbigh Town Football Club can announce that our Boxing Day Vale of Clwyd Derby against Ruthin Town has been amended.
The clash, which was originally slated to take place at Ruthin’s Memorial Playing Fields, will now take place at Central Park following a change in circumstances.
With Ruthin Town temporarily playing at Bala Town’s Maes Tegid due to work taking place on their home turf, the decision was made between the two clubs with the approval of the Football Association of Wales to switch the location.
The decision was made in the interests of supporters and to keep the game within the Vale of Clwyd during a busy Festive Period. The game will be underway at 1pm following a series of Christmas events in Denbigh including Roll the Barrell on Boxing Day morning.
This now means that our fixture with Ruthin on February 21st will be played away from home.
Denbigh Town would like to place on record our thanks to both Ruthin Town and the Football Association of Wales for their cooperation.
