In the early stages of the match Bodedern looked threatening especially from through balls played from midfield and Denbigh keeper Ashley Crosthwaite had to be alert to deal with them.
Denbigh settled down and started to pass the ball around with wide men Stu Vernon and Steve Hoult looking dangerous every time they got the ball.
In the 26th minute Denbigh took the lead when a good cross from the right by Steve Hoult found Stuart Vernon who controlled the ball well and hit the ball into the corner of the net.
Twelve minutes later Denbigh went two nil up. A similar goal to the first one but this time Mark Roberts was on hand to place the ball into the corner of the net.
In the second half Denbigh got into some promising positions near the Bodedern penalty area but failed to take advantage of them. Although Bodedern had more possession in the second half than what they did in the first half they hardly troubled Ashley Crosthwaite in the Denbigh goal.
Denbigh almost went three nil up towards the end of the match when Llion Roberts had a powerful header cleared off the line.
