Four players are nominated to scoop the award that saw Town open their campaign. Aaron Jones, Nathan Brown, Max Cooke and Owen Davies are all in contention.

Aaron Jones had the rare distinction of earning Town’s man of the match award on the opening day of the JD Cymru North when conceding seven but still picking up the award. Jones made some crucial stops throughout the month and kept an impressive clean sheet against Caersws.

Nathan Brown

Nathan Brown started off slow but sprung to life in mid August with a string of superb appearances. He grabbed an assist against Mold before doing the same a week later against Caersws. He finally found the net against Gresford Athletic grabbing a hatrick in a 5-1 success. He went on to net a brace days later against Penrhyncoch.

Defender Max Cooke turned 18 in August and showed real maturity and confidence in his performances. Cooke returned to the side with his best run in the team by putting in solid performances including a Man of the Match run out away at Mold Alexandra and helping the side to a clean sheet against Caersws.

Owen Davies began the season superbly scoring the first goal in all of Welsh domestic football in July against Llay. He gave Town the lead against Mold before also grabbing one at home to Gresford Athletic.
