Denbigh Town Football Club are thrilled to announce that captain Paul Fleming has committed to the club for the upcoming campaign.

The experienced forward joined the club from St Asaph City in 2019 and has totalled over a century of appearances at Denbigh Town. He picked up the Players’ Player of the Season Award in his first campaign and as captain, he lifted both the Ardal North-West and Ardal Northern League Cup titles in a memorable 2022/23.

Last season he continued to skipper the side in their first year back in the JD Cymru North, scoring key goals whilst also showcasing his creative best.

“Flem is one of the best professionals I’ve come across so when we spoke about plans for next season we were happy to have him commit to the club.

“He brings experience, a cool head and outstanding fitness as well as his obvious ability on the pitch, so to have him back next year is really pleasing.

“To make over a hundred appearances at any club is a real achievement and to have him do so here shows his tremendous commitment and excellent ability, I’m sure he’s eyeing up his next milestone with the club”.

“The progress we’re making on and off the pitch is incredible” said Fleming.
