Denbigh Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of former Welsh youth international Keelan Williams.

The 20-year-old ex-Liverpool and Burnley defender arrives at Central Park on the back of time with the club in pre-season.

Williams was most recently with Bala Town who he joined in January making four appearances for the JD Cymru Premier outfit.

He began his footballing career with Liverpool alongside his older brother and current Nottingham Forest and Wales defender Neco, before moving on to Burnley at 16.

He made over 50 appearances for the club at U18 Premier League level before heading to Maes Tegid at the turn of the year.

Williams has represented Wales at Under-17 and Under-18 level and captained the latter against England in 2021.

“I'm delighted to sign for Denbigh Town” said Williams.

“This is a real chance to get minutes under my belt and show everyone what i can do, I’m looking forward to seeing what the squad can achieve and also see what I can achieve individually.

“All the staff were very welcoming and the players are top lads and are a great team, I love the way Denbigh play it really suits me and hopefully we can progress and do well in the season approaching.
