Forward Alfie Vaughan joined Denbigh Town in August 2024.

Vaughan came through the ranks at Connah’s Quay Nomads’ Academy before joining St Asaph City in the summer of 2023.

With the Saints he made his senior footballing debut as a substitute against Llannefydd in August 2023 before his second appearance, again off the bench, saw him score his first goal and grab an assist in a 24-minute cameo against Conwy Borough.

He went on to score five goals in 17 appearances at Roe Plas Meadow before signing for Prestatyn in January 2024.

He made his debut in the JD Cymru North at home to Porthmadog scoring twice and providing an assist in a 3-2 win at Bastion Gardens. He made 11 appearances in before making a further three in 2024/25 before switching to Central Park.
